Who We Are
We understand choosing a hearing care provider is a big decision. At Hear Clear, our number one priority is delivering exceptional patient care. Our staff combines years of expertise in hearing healthcare and is well-trained on a variety of services, ranging from evaluations to treatment.
We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance, and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Our staff is here to support you not only during your initial visit but throughout your entire journey to better hearing.

Mona Rae Hoefs, Hearing Instrument Specialist, M Ed., BS
Owner/Hearing Instrument Specialist
In 1995, Mona was told by her ENT that she appeared to be losing her hearing and that she may need to develop a “Plan B”. As a music teacher, Mona loved working with children and helping them learn how to play an instrument in the band. But if the challenges she was having with her ears continued, this might no longer be an option. So, Mona began taking graduate-level audiology courses and became a hearing specialist. After having hearing challenges most of her life, she found it was very easy to understand the challenges her patients were having. Combined with many years of wearing hearing aids due to her own hearing loss, she was able to understand how even tiny adjustments could make a big difference in how well hearing aids performed.
As the owner of Hear Clear, Mona wants to make sure each person is able to be fit successfully and with as much individualized detail as possible.
When Mona isn’t at the office, she can often be found working in her many flower gardens, or hiking, kayaking, or biking in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
