Mona Rae Hoefs, Hearing Instrument Specialist, M Ed., BS
Owner/Hearing Instrument Specialist
Mona is the owner of Hear Clear and a licensed hearing specialist with more than 30 years of experience providing comprehensive hearing evaluations, personalized hearing aid fittings, programming, repairs, and ongoing support.
Her path to hearing healthcare began in 1995, when her ENT told her she appeared to be losing her hearing and might need a “Plan B.” At the time, Mona was a music teacher who loved helping children learn and play in the band. Facing the possibility of stepping away from the classroom, she began taking graduate-level audiology courses and ultimately became a hearing specialist. Having experienced hearing challenges most of her life—and wearing hearing aids herself for many years—Mona understands firsthand how even the smallest adjustment can make a meaningful difference.
Known for her patient-centered approach, Mona is deeply committed to helping individuals reconnect with friends, family, and the activities they love. She focuses on individualized care, ensuring each patient receives customized recommendations, thorough training on their devices and apps, and attentive follow-up for continued success.
When Mona isn’t at the office, she can often be found working in her many flower gardens, or hiking, kayaking, or biking in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire or visiting with her son Christopher and daughter-in-law Lauren.

Linda Drew
Office Manager
Linda is the Office Manager at Hear Clear LLC in Meredith, NH, where she ensures the practice runs smoothly and patients feel welcome from the moment they arrive. She coordinates scheduling, supports patient care, and keeps daily operations organized and efficient. In addition, Linda carefully tracks and manages hearing aid inventory—processing orders and repairs, preparing devices for delivery and recording details in our system to ensure everything stays accurate and on schedule. With a warm, attentive approach and a strong eye for detail, she helps keep the office running seamlessly while creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through the door.
Rachel Simkevich
Hearing Aid Technician
Rachel is the Hearing Technician at Hear Clear LLC in Meredith, NH, where she supports the technical needs of both patients and staff. She assists with hearing aid cleaning, in office repairs, Bluetooth troubleshooting, connectivity, and assistance with device management. With a calm and detail-oriented approach, she helps make technology simple, accessible, and stress-free.
Rachel is also studying to become a board-certified hearing instrument specialist.
Wendy Hills
Digital Content Specialist
Wendy is the Digital Content Specialist at Hear Clear LLC in Meredith, NH, where she oversees the practice’s online presence and patient communications. She creates clear, engaging content that helps patients better understand their hearing health and stay connected with the office. Detail-oriented and creative, Wendy ensures Hear Clear’s messaging remains consistent and patient-focused, while also supporting special projects as needed to advance the practice’s goals.
